40 B rear rim and tire removal

Looking for information on removal of rear tires and rims. My 40 B rims are mounted with the rim clamps mounted to the cast wheels to inside. I assume there is an easier method of trying to remove the rims out over the cast wheels. I usually work alone, is this a manhandling task that needs a lot of help. What method is best?
Thanks, Sam

If you have cast centers, and are looking to remove the rim and tire leaving the cast on the tractor, it is not all that bad. There is a "slot" on the cast, get it to the top...remove the clamps and twist the rim sideways to let it drop into the slot. Then the bottom can be pulled back....at this point let cast revolve to the rear, and the rim should be off. Hope you can understand my directions, and good luck. Dale

Oops, after clamp removal push the rim off to the inside. Then turn, position in slot in cast disk and roll off. Sorry about the goof, it's been a while.

Thanks Old Popper
The method that you gave me was more than helpful. It didn't go all that bad in fact a lot better than I envisioned. Next question is how do you position everything to put them back on the cast wheels and not get the nice newly painted rims and wheels all scarfed up. Looks like a lot of touch-up painting. These instructions should have been included in the operating manual.
Thanks again, Sam
