Hi guys, got some questions on a 2955 tractor. Tractor has about 4700 hrs. I'm changing out the vibration pulley assembly. What is the torque specs on the bolt in the center of the pulley assembly and should I use loc tite? What is the torque on the 4 allen head bolts in the assembly and should I use loc tite? What is the torque for the 8 bolts on the connecter rod? (Sorry, can't think of the correct name) Also, how do I drain the antifreeze from the engine? I can't find a pit cock valve. Thanks guys!

I can't answer the bolt torque questions. The parts schematics show a drain plug(parts key #17)

Hi Jim, I got the anti freeze drained from the radiator ok. I was
wondering how to drain the remaining anti freeze out of the
block. My 4250 has a valve on the side of the engine but my
2955 doesn't. I could prob just take loose the hose that runs
up to heater and drain the remaining anti freeze from there.

Thanks!

The service manual has hundreds of pages of info, specs and illustrations. Tough to compete with a paragraph on the Internet . Price is reasonable from 1-800-522-7448. Odds are the operator"s manual has been lost as well. There is service info in there on how to avoid ruining the brakes and hydraulic system.
Just bought all the manuals yesterday on CD for the youngest boy"s new tractor. Kid has been bugging me for the info.

Yes, that's the way to do it.
I don't use loctite on crank bolt but do on waffle bolts and drive bolts.
