What is the difference between John Deere buggy top TY24471 and John Deere buggy top A-6A232? TY24471 is about $130 and A-6A232 is about $170. When I look at them at online stores, they look alike. My local John Deere dealer lists both numbers but does not know any difference. For a $40 difference,there must be a difference. Anyone know? Thanks for any help you can give me.

They have two different size sunshades; 40" and 48". That is probably the difference, however there is no "A6A232" listed on the Deere parts site, so don't know where that came from. The 40" is part # TY24470 and the 48" is TY24471.
They also have two different mounting hardware; fender mount and axle mount.

Sorry that those web sites didn't transfer. Both buggy tops are 48" wide. One is at allpartsstore.com and the other is at homesteadsuperstore.com.

Some of my neighbors use those patio umbrellas make there own axle mounts they may not look as nice as Ma Deeres but they do the same job for a fraction of the cost.
