John Deere D Orchard

This is my new project. Just brought her home yesterday.
She's a 1937 and in pretty good shape. All the sheet metal is off right now but it came with a new set of fenders.

Yea but I do not have a heated garage to work in and hunting season is here so I'm just going to get her running good for now and attack it in the spring.
She's been sitting for 2-3 years without being run.
She's hand crank of course. I got it poppin but it won't catch. Then it started dripping gas out the inlet end of the carb. Bad gasket of course but how is the gas getting there in the first place? Gotta be a bad float or stuck needle allowing the gas to get that high.

It appears the picture hyper link was coded with brackets [ ] instead of carats < >. In the world of programing its either 100% correct or its wrong...
