1970 3020 syncro shift linkage adj.

Help needed to adj shift linkage. will start in all gears on left side of shifter when moved over to rt side will not start. I think the spring part is not doing any thing can some one post pix,not sure which rod it goes on,thanks.

Syncro-range is designed to only start in park or neutral.

Thar part happens on the top shaft shift cam, the safety switch is located on the right side behind the battery, tje shift cam has a tab on it that hits the safety switch button when in the nutrel position.

Neutral start switch is parts key #12.

The way you describe it sounds normal. As long as the rh side of the shifter drum is in neutral it will start. It doesn't matter where the shifter is on the lh side.

how do you adj linkage for no start in gear allso what is the tube with spring in it for and whitch rod does it go on.
