We have hyd oil leaking from the front of the tractor, all over the back of the fuel tank and down on the air filter assy. We pulled the hood and found that the hose (parts key 20) is broken/brittle. One end goes on the reservoir but the other end seems to just lay over the side of the radiator. The description in jdparts says that that part is 68 inches long.
where does the other end go?

I had the same thing happen on my 2350. The hoses get brittle and break. If I get a chance today, I'll go take a look at mine if no one else helps you out. I know I changed them both, but I can't remember exactly where they went.

My memory is a little foggy but I think that hose
connects near the bottom of the steering column.
Just a return hose (no pressure).

Yes it ends near the bottom of the steering column, at a barb fitting on the front right side of the shift cover. From the resevoir end it is usually tie wrapped to the air intake hose then routed down around the fuel filter under the battery box floor and then to the shift cover. Hope this helps, Bob
