I have a 1970 2520 gas w synchro tranny. It has started leaking hygard out of the access panel in the belly. I first noticed it when I shut it down after an hour of light use and a steady stream ran out for a minute or so. I'd say it lost about a gallon as the dipstick still showing 3/4 full but there is a slow drip that continues.Does anyone have any advice or insight? Thank you in advance for any advice or insight you have.

Sorry to tell you this but if you have hydraulic oil leaking out of the access panel below the clutch you have a failed seal between the clutch housing and transmission housing and it will have to be split to fix.

Seal on end of pto shaft could be leaking or pto clutch operating piston o-rings & bu washers(parts keys #18 & 19). pto control valve could also be leaking. As previously stated a split will be required to repair oil leak.

Remove that panel observe pto pistons while running w/pto engaged. That is the most common source of leaking.
At least you will know before you split.
