43 B Carb Question

Hello Everyone

I rebuild the carb and when I open up the drain on the bottom of the bowl I get drops coming out not a stream. Any suggestions on what to check.

Check for good flow out of the plug on the side of the float bowl strainer housing. (Just under the gas line fitting, facing out). If ok there, maybe obstruction in the strainer lid bolt.
If okay, the little ears on the float lever may be binding the needle from dropping properly. They get bent trying to adjust float level with float installed in float bowl.
Or just maybe, your drain petcock has an obstruction.
