Cannot get the pin to move. Manual says to drive pin out. Have soaked it with pb blaster, and tried to drive it out. Do not want to damage housing.

On the ones I have been around you have to line up the top of pin with slot and it pushes out no driving required. The slot is there to keep pin from coming[jumping] out .If it is actually froze then a little heat might help.I have never seen one froze but anything is possible.

If you're talking about the horizontal pin that supports the front of the front drawbar support, it is a press fit. Drive it out with a good large diameter punch. I find that an air hammer with a straight punch works well. They can be tough to get out sometimes.

Yes they are tuff Cliff,, I have feared that I may break the housing hammering on them,, ...and that would turn "nasty"...

I am attempting to replace the front drawbar support on a early model 3020. Has anyone replaced one of these?, and would like to share the procedure? I have the general concept down.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I made a mistake! I am going to replace the front drawbar support on a John Deere 4010, not a 3020. Can anyone give any advise?? It would be greatly apprieciated!
