The hydraulics chatter and the cylinders jump when raising the loader. Clutch in or out, synchro trans. Sometimes it runs smoother, seems to be a little less bad when sitting at certain angles. Overfill by a gallon doesn't change it any. Could it be the pump that supplies the main pump?
The loader has so many leaks we put oil in 2 gallons at a time when it gets below 'add'. Mostly cylinder seals, it's on the "to-do" list.
If we completely fill the radiator, it doesn't take long for it to push the coolant back out the overflow. Would it be worth it to try a fresh radiator cap, or just figure it needs a head gasket? It could use a full rebuild, the boss got it a few years ago, had it to the dealer for some repairs and they dyno'd it, only put out 60 horse. But it works good for what we need it to do (drill fenceposts, roll wire, move a few round bales, push a little dirt, and brushhog around the yard now and then).
How the heck do the two shifter drums work? I can see the same linkage up under the dash move, whichever gear I am going into, but can't figure out how it moves a different linkage on the side of the transmission each time.
What speed does the belly-mounted PTO run?
Thanks
