I had the lower countershaft bearing go out on my B. I've already removed the shifter shafts and the sliding gear shaft,
but am stumped on the counter shaft. I cant get the loc nut loose,I have the snap ring removed,so heres my question. the I t manual doesnt explain which side the shaft comes out or if I have to remove the right side bearing and slide out the left. Any opinions? Thanks Bob

There are differences in the design of the B. You will have to know the serial number of the tractor to get exact details on how the shaft comes out.

If i recall, the shaft will slide out the left side. Those Bs dont have alot of room for big hands down there, take your time and pay attention to how everything fits together.

the countershaft comes out the pulley side (asin)the right side you need to remove the pulley and frist red cover. the brgs. on shaft will both need to be replaced
