I'm not a fan of tractor loaders - much prefer a skid steer loader. But they are more handy when feeding round bales to cattle on pasture in winter. I have a 4430 open station tractor and have found a 48 loader for $1800 nearby. The loader had been on a 4010. This loader will only ever haul a 1500ish pound bale on the front. I do everything with my skid steer and have no desire to try to scoop poop or snow with the loader (unless I gotta to get the bales out to the cattle). Would a 48 hold up to hauling bales with a 4430? Is the single bucket cylinder an issue?
