The original subject was "JD 3020 Rockshaft Piston Cover Leak".

Took awhile to get around to this. Can anyone help with the exact location to install parts #6 and #7 on the shaft? Thanks.

Evidently you didn't read my answer to your previous thread.

Parts key #6 is back-up ring & PK #7 is o-ring

Jim- I read your previous post. I tried to post a pic of the shaft and the parts. Does the O-ring and back up ring go all the way forward to the head of the shaft? There are two grooves in the shaft causing the confusion. I could email you a picture.

I am referring to the shaft as part #8. So I install o-ring all the way to the head of the shaft, install the back up ring to meet the o-ring, and install #5 (which they are identifying as a "valve")? And I know this has been a pain, but I appreciate your help. Thanks.

After viewing the parts specifications for the fitting(parts key #2) I'm almost certain the o-ring & bu washer fit in a groove in bushing(parts key #5)
