JD 2-Cyl. Mechanic in Webster, WI?

What's the problem ? What model do you have ? These two cylinders are very simple to work on with normal tools and a little mechanical ability and a good manual too !!!!

You might try doing a search for 2 cylinder John Deere clubs in your area, and enter words like "John Deere A" or "early number series John Deere clubs" or something like that. I found out, while very frustrated with my old Farmall tractor, that a retired IH dealer mechanic lived only about five miles from my house, and he even had the old dealer service manuals that he let me borrow! Help is always there if you look for it, ie, seek and you shall find. Hugh

What are you working on and what needs fixing . I am in St Croix Falls WI and know some of them around here but most specialize as far as models and what issues they work on .

If you call the John Deere dealer in either Turtle Lake or Osceola they would be able to tell you who works on them in your area.

Evergreen restorations is NE of you a ways and he does carbs including the old single barrel scheblers . Jerry and he is also the gauge guy at all the big swaps . The clutch work is really simple and folks here can probably walk you through it . If you don't want to do it yourself ask Jerry who to see in your area . He knows most JD folks in these parts .
