I have a 4255, put a reman alternator on it last fall during drilling season. this summer anytime the outdoor air temp got close to 90 the alarm and warning light would come on. If I flipped the field lights on for a few minutes the light and alarm would go off. I put a VOM across the alternator cable and ground, the alarm goes off at about 12.5 volts. Took it into the JD dealer, he put it on their test bench and alternator puts out 14.2 volts regardless of load imposed on the alternator. come home and put it on my tractor and the best I can get is 13.8 volts. Can't find and frayed or broken wires and cleaned ground lug. Any ideas, my thought is the voltage regulator is going bad in the heat. Unit has about 1 month left on warranty.
Thanks for any ideas.
