This afternoon I put my rebuilt 60 starter back in, hooked the battery cable and pull-rod up, installed the brand-new battery and did a "slow" test plunge on the foot starter when...zzzzt I got an arc across the cable arm and the starter rod--didn't have the cable arm over far enough, obviously (obvious NOW
When I was able to get more slack out of the battery cable and push the arm over more and try a second time, there was nothing...so, what did I fry? Thanks for your response in advance...
