3020 p. shift vs 500 industrial p. shift

The 500 industrial is basically a 3020 utility beefed up with heavier parts. The power shift on the 500 industrial has a reverser. Is it possible to put the reverser parts into the standard 3020 power shift transmission? Or was a different trans case used to achieve this in the 500?

Trans case is interchangeable between 500 & 3020 < sn 122,999. From "briefly viewing parts schematic" I think the main differences was in the control linkages not the internal trans parts but then I've been known to be incorrect. One would need to study the 500 service manual.

Yes the difference "is" in the linkage set up and
it could be converted to a 3020. The Sychro Range
Industrial also had a left lever to deal with
reversing too...
