where to add ps fluid on 1020

Was at a buddies house and he asked me to help him figure out where he could add power steering fluid. I know the first number series jd's but this 1020 is an odd ball to me. I don't like the way the steering goes through the radiator. Also can't figure out how the pump is driven? But those are not my main concerns. Its where do you add the fluid? I told him I would post that question on here because I know someone on here knows. Also told him he needs to buy a service manual! Thanks

The photos leave a little to be desired BUT are you sure your friends tractor is a 1020 or is it a 1010? Top photo looks as if it's a 1010. Steering shaft doesn't go through radiator on a 1020 either.

The hydraulic oil on a 1020 or 1010 was used for the steering. On a 1010 the filler is under the seat with a brass radiator type fitting on the back of the rockshaft assembly to tell you when it's full.It only holds around two gallon. On a 1020 there is a cap to remove on the back of the rockshaft housing to fill and a dipstick on the right side of the tranny to check.Right behind where your right leg would be setting on the tractor.

Im sorry your correct its a 1010. Yes the pictures are
bad too it was a spur of the moment question all I had
was my cell phone camera and was in good clothes
so I was trying not to get too dirty.
