3010 gas narrow frount ,the steering post sets at a angle aprox 30 degrees off center turns real sharp one way and really short the other how do i get the thing centered thanks

Presuming that frt axle is bolted to spindle(parts key #15) correctly then I would think the spindle(#15) isn't timed to the piston(#22) correctly. IIRC there are timing marks on spindle & frt axle.

Had a 3020 couple months ago shear the rivet that holds the lower rol-o-matic to the post, did this just happen or has someone worked on it and not got it in time. Timing marks are on #14 and 15 in Jims pic, but the pedestal has to be removed to see them.

If the lower piece that the knuckles are in is not centered with the pedestal the rivets are sheared or nearly sheared. Otherwise it is a timing problem inside the motor as TX Jim suggests.

actually this happened once before a couple yrs + ago at that time we slid a large pipe between tire and post ,tugged on it and the post went straight worked ok till this spring when i was mowing some hay

The pin between the upper and lower pedistol is probably broken at one of the rivets. This can let the wheels come off. Take it to a weld shop and have them remove the pin ( put it into a forge and quinch it ) and put a new one in . I don"t know if the pin is still available from deere . Better yet get a heavy duty one from salvage yard .
