70 temp gauge and line

Put a new temp gauge and wire in the 70 today. I got it all titened up where the sensor goes in and it wiggles around a bit like its loose, it don't seem normal to me, is it? Thanks

Put some straight water in it and see if it leaks. It just MAY be that the braided jacket around the capillary tube is not gripped snugly by the nut and is loose, but the lip on the ether-filled bulb MAY be gripped and sealing.
