47 b rear axle

Replacing the bearing for the rear axle. Anybody got a simple solution or point me in direction of a tool to remove the races from inside the housing behind the bull gear. Thanks

Is the 'Bull Gear' out ? Should be. If so, there should be some access(notches) to use a drift and mallet (I think). HTH

Insert a long piece of round stock or galv. pipe from the outer end of the axle housing and catch the inner edge of the bearing cup. Move the pipe around the edge as you hit it with a BFH. If the oil seal is still in place, knock it out first.
