1010 injector help

I am considering installing JD Pencil injectors in my 1010. Mine came without injectors but were of the type that had the 1/4" NPT connector on the top. Would be great if I could get my hands on an original scrap one to verify placement of the pencil injectors.

1010s did not have pencils.

What are you plans for a 1010 diesel? Restoration for a collection, hobby farm useage, odd jobs tractor on a farm or a primary tractor to earn your living?

Again 1010s did not have pencil injectors. Perhaps you just were thinking all injectors are referred to as pencils?
Your engine is a converted gas as was a 706 IH and that sorry 5.7 Olds that GM tried in the late 70s.
The head you have has pre-combustion chambers and glow plugs. Deere used pencils only in direct injection engines.

The 560 farmall diesel tips will interchange with the 1010 diesel injectors.You can still get the farmall tips.
