620 PTO Clutch Housing Oil???

Can someone tell me what weight of oil to put back in the PTO housins most of it leaked out so I fixed the leak and would like to put all fresh back in. My manual says 4 QT's but doesn't say what weight or if its just regular oil ( motor oil ) or what weight of oil to put. Thanks for the help!

I think my manual specs 10 wt oil which is kinda hard to find. My local JD dealer suggested low viscosity HyGuard oil, which he sells, and that's what I use.

Tractor Supply also has it in 5 gallon containers. Note however, that it is listed as "10W Motor Oil", but according to James Howell, (my JD 2 cyl. authority), it will work just fine.

I had regular hy-gard in mine for years and all was fine.

Regular Hy-Gard is fine for pto, power steering and hydraulics. Have used ut for thirty years.
