is the PTO from a JD 420C interchangable with 40C? Thank you for any help..

I think the 40 has a different PTO. I believe this takes the PTO shaft used on the Utility, and HC, different from the other models in that it is longer. It is also harder to find and more expensive than the one on the other models.

Mrs B&D has informed me that this years project is a new
deck on the north side of the house , deck around the pool and
a slab pored for a future hot tub. Then she wants a new
entrance/porch at the front door.
