Is this a John Deere tractor/implement support?

At a recent auction, I purchased a device that looks like it supports a John Deere tractor or implement. I say John Deere because the former owner was a John Deere collector and farmer, It is also painted green but has no identifying tags.
It measure 4 feet high, is constructed of angle iron and has 3 pairs of bolt holes 20, 35 and 47 inches high. Between the supports which are slightly bent outwards, the three pairs of bolt holes are 16 3/4, 17 1/4 and 17 1/2 apart.
Possible it was used to hold up a Tricycle while it was being worked on?
What do you think it was used for?

I"ll add what I think?

Looks like a home made & handy 2 cyl push
bar for pushing wagons in a barn...

But I could be wrong, My wife say"s I"m wrong
a lot.....

Rla im with you. I remember when the cotton gins used cotton trailers the gin tractors had the same type bars on the front of them. I guess when they were done with unloading the front of the trailer they would push the trailer up so they could suck the back of the trailer.

Presantly I have been rounding up the material
to build one for the 44 A I am resurecting.
Since the block & head are at the machine shop
& have the main case & frt frame blasted & in
primer, ready for paint I dont' have much else
to tinker on after it gets dark. And at times
wondering why I have less dollars & no sense as
to why I am doing this. Go threw all this work
to make it Run & look like new , then Use it?
Our Boys work or they go down the road....

Kinda looks like the homemade splitting stand I made to split JD A's to put new gaskets at the block to main case connection. That is taller though.
