rear PTO at a 90 degree offset on 3020.

Saw a 3020 at an auction recently that had 3 PTOs.
One on the belly ran a loader (pretty standard), At the back had one 540 and one 1000 (pretty standard), but the 540 was set up so it ran parallel with the axles, seemed to not have a lot of side clearance on it.
Were these set up for belt pulleys??? What would fit on it, didn't seem like there would be room for a PTO pump.

Yep, it's just like about and other 3020 or 4020...

The spare shaft is just lurking there, parked sideways in a little blind pocket, 'til it's needed, then it gets swapped with the one previously used, pointing backwards.

I was thinking that the spare pto shaft was just lurking in a hole in trans case not a "blind pocket".

Yeah, you're right! Remember back a month or two ago that was discussed here when someone had a bad "O" ring in the storage pocket and it was leaking oil?

Thanks for the replies, one of those details that I'd not noticed before. I think the 4020 I worked with as a high school kid must've had the 1000 stored in the shop, he only had 540 equipment.
