Rethreading lower 3pt yoke R26615?

Hey all,

I bought a 3 point assembly from a used parts supplier less than a week ago and the lower yoke stripped out within 10 acres of lifting a rotary hoe. I called the guy and he will only either sell me another arm for $110 or he'll give me my money back on the whole unit. I like neither option. I would have thought he'd trade me for a good one, but he doesn't want to do that.

I've called around to other used parts dealers and can buy the lower yoke for $55 used or $110 new from A&I. I hesitate to buy an A&I because I just changed out a year old stripped hydraulic pump shaft that was from them.

So I was wondering if anyone has had any luck with rethreading a lower yoke or getting a nut to fit in the bottom of it. The tractor is a worker, but I still like to have things look original and work original. I don't really want to drill a hole and bolt it or weld it.

For now, I've robbed a lift arm off another tractor. I'd really like to have both useable.
