Can anyone provide insight on what JD’s round baler model numbers indicate? In the 3, 4, and 5 series, they must have close to 40 models. Do the 1st, 2nd and 3rd digits signify anything? May want to start shopping for the oldest 4foot wide net wrap model Deere made.

The 1st number represents width except on the ones starting with a 3 & last number represents series. 1st 4 ft wide model with net was a 435. I'm not familiar with the 3XX models as dealer I worked for didn't stock those models or I'd left dealership before their introduction.

The 3XX series had no monitor nor made bales over 5 ft tall.

The series were not including the 3XX
430/530
435/535
466/566
467/567
468/568
469/569
