Having problems with 630 rowcrop (gasoline). Oil pressure has been higher than normal. I hve notice that I have added a lot of oil the last few times I have used the tractor.I checked the transmission and drained an enormus amount of oil from the transmission "check" plug. All advice and help would be greatly appreciated...........thanks

Crankshaft seal behind clutch pulley, ( RH )
side is leaking into the 1st reduction gear
housing... If your going to do this Job make
sure the main Bearing isn"t loose & replace
all gaskets & seals associated with main
bearing housing.

talking to other sources, it sounds like this is the most logical area to start diagnosing this problem......I was told to also check large steel plug (photo in ITT book shows it looking like a freeze plug). Another possibility is that a gasket has failed on the countershaft bearing cover at the bottom of the transmission housing or the housing cover and/or oil slinger at the input shaft to the transmission has worn out...Sounds like I need to invest in a 620 repair manual (have been told that a 630 manual was not offered because almost everything was the same. Again thanks for your response
