For anything other than plowing "D" is the desired setting.

It was raining today and the tractor was sitting outside so had to wait a bit.
I checked where I had left the depth control setting and I had it on L/D. I moved it to the D.
I had the tractor running and checked to see if I could see any oil spraying inside but looking in the fill hole. I didn't see anything, just a bit few bubbles way down - probably the return?
Any ideas??

Does 3 pt still operate erratically with L/D lever in"D"? Have you ever checked stand-by pressure?

No, I haven"t had a chance to find a gauge and test that - but I definitely intend to. I"ll get back to you on what I find.
It did lift slowly but since I haven"t been able to use it due to the mud, I"ll have to wait a few days to try it out again.
