TimS need a 4020 fuel tank?

This is the tank that was pulled out of my 4020 has three repair spots with I think are JB weld. One of which we think was/ is leaking. This tank looks very solid on the bottom. It is super clean inside. Anyone who wants this and can repair it should get this tank. Cover shipping and throw in a decent donation! Tim...if you could use this I would send it if it was worthwhile enough to cover shipping...if it's not worth the fix for you thats ok. Never hurts to ask. Just appreciate all the advice and you would be one who could apply this to someones problem.

I have had this tractor for 7-8 years at least now and there was zero crud in the bottom of the tank and the fuel filters which I hadn't ever changed were clean too.

Went out and shined a led light in one hole and took picture through other hole. Looks like there is a bit of crud on the bottom but not bad.

Maybe you better fix it oil it up and keep it. That plastic one might crap out.

Hello, How much do you want for the tank? I need a tank for my 4020. I do not want to get a plastic tank, I would rather put a metal one back on it. Thanks, Bob

Sorry for the slow reply. I am up in Northern MN. I do not know how you would ship one of these unless you are in the delivery area for Speedee upper midwest. Cover cost of shipping and you can decide what you want to donate and its yours. I talked with a fellow about welding it..which could be done but he felt it would be better to use automotive gas tank repair. This tank is solid and will easily take a fix.

Yes it's a bit far to ship, and it is repairable, I have one extra here now..
