Maple Hunter VS. Jorde Decals

Hi Guys,

Don"t want to open a can of worms; however, I am wanting opinions of decal companies for the decals on my 630. I want the most accurate decals possible for this restoration. I"m looking at Maple Hunter. Vinyl Cut Decals are only 54$ and look accurate. What are your thoughts between Jorde"s and Maple Hunter or is it six of one and one half dozen of the other? I know nothing about Maple Hunter but I have known Travis Jorde for many years and have been to his home in Rochester, Minnesota. You will never meet a finer gentleman. I have a collection of John Deere tractors, all have been expo certified and they all have decals from Travis and I couldn't be happier with them.
 
I have always used jordes decals and wont use anything else. Best of quality and licensed by john deere.
 
Travis Jorde.
You will not save any money in the long run using inferior decals, voice of experience!

Have used Jorde's for years. Top quality and super accurate. Can't go wrong. I've seen others and there just not as good. My 2-cents.

First of all, I'd like to agree with everyone on here. Jorde's is the only way to go. Second of all, Travis is a very nice guy, which is something that a couple of you mentioned. But one thing that has always impressed me that no one has mentioned yet is how incredibly knowledgeable Travis is not just about decals, but about John Deere in general. He is fascinating to visit with and I would say his knowledge of Deere, especially tractors and what was used or changed in what year, is second to none. Needless to say, JORDE'S JORDE'S JORDE'S!!!

You are so right about Travis's knowledge. Travis taught in the high school in Rochester for many years and I have a friend who is a Doctor at Mayo Clinic who was one of his former students. She has always said that Mr. Jorde is one of those teachers whom you will never forget. Mr Jorde not only taught but he instilled the desire to learn in each of his students.

Thanks for your input. I ordered from Jorde's. I was able to speak with Mr. Jorde on the phone and he seems to know all their is about decals for these tractors. Thanks again. I'm sure I'll be pleased with the decals.
