Model A top radiator tank

My tank has the two top hood bolts broke off flush. I was wanting to drill them out and retap them. Does the bolts thread all the way into the tank or do they bottom out? Has anyone had problem. Whats the best way to fix it?

If I remember right the hole has a bottom. I put a new core in my G a couple years ago and bolts were broke on that. I drilled them out but don't remember for sure if they bottomed out, I think they did. John

They bottom out i just redone a unstyled A radiator broke all off but one had to drill and retap. Just go slow and becareful dont brake a drill bit off i did and it was harder getting it out than drilling and taping all the rest.Good luck.
