Will a 720 loader mount easily on a 4040?

I just bought a 4040 from a Kubota dealer in Missouri. He had a recently traded in 720 loader that he said he would mount on the 4040. I cannot find any 4040"s advertised with that loader. It seems most have a 158 loader. Is it going to be a real hassle to mount the 720 loader, anybody know?
Thanks.

It should bolt right on a 4040 provided it has the correct mounting frames and a closed-center hyd valve

is the 720 a stronger loader than the 148 / 158? a 4020 can easily prang a 148 if not careful...would think a 4040 would be better with tougher loader.

Found this interesting discussion relating to loader on a 4030

720 JD loaders will fit a 2520 up 4455.All the bolt holes are the same from the front of tractor. The extra frame lenght is in the rear of frame rails [6/12in].Unless you are using a joystick the scvs will operate the loader. That loader will also fit 10 series.Good loaders and Q.T. bucket is about the only difference. One thing the pins that hold loader on need to be kept lubricated as they can seize and require disassembly of loader.I know from experience on a tractor I bought.
