mounting fender to new gen rops

If you bolt fenders directly to rops what size bolts are needed. Im assuming you bolt through the horizontal brace and not just to fender material. Should i use rubber of any kind between fender and rops or no? I also broke the female threads loose on inside of rops. Any tips on fixing that or just use 3 of the 4 holes? Thank you as always

I would use all the bolts and just retap the damaged one.If you are going to have canopy you might want to fill bar with wash sand or put a sound deadner between axle.Several people put insulation on bottom of canopy. They look nice but are too noisy for me.It might save your life if used properly.

I would not do it because it wil rust out your fenders. If I were doing it I would put spacers on each bolt to set the fender out from the rollbar far enough that any dirt could fall thru and so that no moisture would lay between the rollbar and fenders.I have thrown a dozen sets of fenders away over the years because they were bolted to the rollguard.

I"ll second that. Previous owner of my 4320 installed the fenders on the rops and the fenders are rusted. There was plenty of room on the axle for fender mounts.

Well i also have the fender castings and since i have to widen the rear tires either way maybe i should just plug threads in rops and use the fender castings and get some u bolts. The fenders that are goin on for now arent perfect so im not too worried about rust.
