F145H Plow Hitch Set-Up

I just bought an old F145H 4-14" Plow for use with my 3020. The only Operators Manual I have is for an F145A, which is a newer version of this plow. I believe the front hitch assembly is a little different on the two models. Need advice on proper setting of the horizontal and vertical hitch settings. If you have a Manual for the F145H, please refer to this section and help me if you can. My rear wheels are set at 30" from tractor center to inside of rear tires. Thanks!

The hitch should be set already. I pulled one for years with a 2510. Wheel spacing should be 56" or 23" from center to inside the furrow wheel. This is a great plow. Use the 3 pt lever to set furrow depth, then adjust the cylinder to level the back plow. Then just pick up the front with the 3 pt and turn at the ends. I could level a new land or turn in a dead furrow as level as the rest of the field with this plow, as it is easy to change depths of the front bottoms and rear bottoms independently of each other. Good choice. That model will plow land as level as a table-top.

The remote cylinder should be fully retracted. The stop bolt on the rear wheel assembly is what controls how much weight the rear wheel carries. The depth of the plow is controlled by the 3-pt. If the plow is set right it will go up or down with the 3-pt. ONLY. Mike
