Dubuque Power Steering

I have a power steering unit from a 440 that I am considering selling. It is complete from steering shafts to pedestal with pump, belts, brackets...everything. There are couple of Dubuque units on ebay for around $1800 but they are still for sale at that price. Has anyone seen these sell recently or have an idea of what it is worth? Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

There were different types of PS pumps used on the debuques.The early ones used a diverter valve and worked off the tractor hydraulic system.The next model had separate tank for the ps fluid and had a vane pump that is hard to find parts for.The later ones had a pump like they use on a car.The type of pump effects the price.I've seen them advertised for 1800 or so,but don't know of anyone who paid that.

I can usually sell them for $1500 complete; more if I rebuild the pump and other components. Not everyone will go for a setup at that price, but you have calls all afternoon if you advertise it for $1000.
