2640 3 point spraying at full lift

My 2640 sprays hydraulic oil against the fill plug with the 3 point raised all the way up if the load/position selector is on any setting other than position. Move lift lever down a tad and oil spray stops. Adjustment, o-rings on RS valves or hopefully (sarcasm inserted) something more expensive? Rockshaft is the only thing left on the tractor I haven"t rebuilt and just haven"t gotten to it yet. Thought I might try to mentally prepare myself! :)
 
Does your tractor have a factory scv?? Here's you a parts list if the control valves are leaking.

You should also check the valve(parts key #19) for wear.

Just rebuilt my 3pt lift. Replace all O-rings, including the large piston O-ring.

11 T28538 VALVE SEAT INSERT 2
12 R54969 VALVE SPOOL

Also, these parts were worn out. Replace all Balls, and make sure everything is free, and check the springs.

Thanks for the parts list. Tractor does have factor SCV. I rebuilt
it as it was leaking internal pretty bad. Had to leave it in float to
keep implement from raising on its own. Bush hogging
yesterday afternoon with heavy mower and lift quit working.
Hydraulic pto worked as did steering. Was only running at
1500 rpm. Revving up engine got lift to raise. Apparently
internal leak got much worse or priority valve, which has been
rebuilt, malfunctioned. I'm guessing the heavy load has helped
flesh out the leak. I may tear it apart this weekend to see if any
hard parts are worn out and then order everything.
