JD 70D axle/bullgear nut

Had to take the axles out of the rearend of my JD 70 diesel tonight. When I got the second nut off the axle I notice the threads in it were mostly stripped out of the nut. My question is are the nuts in the 50's and 60's the same as the 70's? Going to try to find another one and might make my search easier. Thanks in advance for the replys!
