John deere mt

Just recently purchased a john deere mt to add to our antique tractor collection and was wondering if there was anything I should specifically look for or be concerned about. Also, I have read several posts that say you should have the m and the mt manuals, is this true? The previous owner gave me the owners manual for it, so I am going to get shop manuals and possibly the parts manual.
Is there any online PDF files floating around out there for MT s, maybe schematics and other details? Found the Nebraska test data already.
 
The M and MT are good tractors with very few
problems. I plowed 4 AC today with my 1948 M. It was
a long day and a slow one; but , that turn over plow
does such a nice job. Ed
 
The MT shop manual is just a supplement to the M manual so you will need both. Parts manual mentioned for an M is the same.
