My 2510 idles a little on the high side at 1000 rpm. How do you set the idle on this thing? Other than the high idle issue, the tractor operates well. Thanks in advance!

With inj pump does your tractor have? CDC or DBG??

Did it just start idling high all of a sudden? Do idle rpm's fluctuate? Have you checked the speed control linkage for binding?

Sorry for the late reply. No it has idled high since I have
owned it (about a year). But it idles at 1100 and I would
think it should be about 700-800. The rpms don't fluctuate
and the linkage doesnt appear to be binding because it does
shut off the tractor.

I thought there was an idle adjustment screw on the speed control shaft on inj pump but the parts schematic didn't list one.

I have turned both screws and neither of them made a
noticeable difference in idle speed.
