AO 3 way valve pics

Anybody have any pics of the rod that goes from the dash to the 3 way valve on an unstyled AO? Friend has one and it has a piece of conduit between the rod that goes through the dash and the rod that comes off the 3 way valve. It obviously isn't original. It works, but there has to be something not quite right.

I have a NOS conduit that attaches from the fuel selector to the rod. It is about 1 1/4" long.

You should be looking for part #s'
B 1939 R AND B 3272 R. At least they are the ones for my '60 (should be the same) The trick is to have the valve lined up with the hole in the dash. PROBLEM you may overtighten(sp) the sediment bowl in the tank = leak. Best of luck.

It has a piece of conduit now and figured that was just a "farmer" fix. I guess maybe the is the way it is supposed to be. Thanks for the info.
