What model plow is this?

I found a plow for sale on the local Craigslist but I am not sure of model and the seller didn't know either.

Looking at the picture I am not seeing how this would clear the tire on my 2020.

I think it's a F125 because it appears to have spring trip standards. The rotary cutter in the photo is a X09 series which is one of JD better cutters.

Because of long brace rod going back to third bottom & front bottom on right side of right draft link pin ; It has to have been cut down from a 4 bottom ... PC- 806 ....Has older GP(general purpose) bottoms....

That's the part that was throwing me off too. The front coulter being ahead of the three point frame.

By looking close at pic. I really think it a earlier model F120 PC-711; It do'nt have the extra fore-aft.clearance (frame streched back as much) as the F125...

It's got 2 piece moleboards , blacksmith sharpenable GP. shares; most plows that age have HS. (highspeed) moleboards...

Because of the long coulter beam in the front I'm almost totally sure that it is an F125 4 bottom made into a 3 bottom by cutting the box tube and putting the tail wheel on the 3rd bottom.

The front coulter leading so far forward on the 4/5 bottom plows keeps them from being used on 2 cylinder tractors.

The easy way to spot a 3 bottom F125 is by its smaller square beam. It has the same size beam as used on the F115/F120 plows. The F125 4 and 5 bottom plows used the larger beam as seen on this plow.

Also note that the line of draft is different for a 4 bottom F125 than it is for a 3 bottom. It will not draft correctly. The 1250 works fine by just cutting it off from 5 bottoms all the way down to 3 but the F125 is a different story. The cut off 125's will wear the landsides and continually pull the frontend into the plowed ground. I know because I've owned two of the cutoff F125 plows. They just dont work correctly.

The plow is a F120 series. 120 because it has trip bottoms and the lower hitch cross bar is below the frame. F115 and 125 have bar thru the frame. Looking at the location of the top link attachment, this plow was originally a 4 btm. As it is now the center of the pull or draft is off set to the left of the plow. Also, parts book shows the 4 btm with the right coulter support like on this plow. 3 btm is different. I would guess that plow would have been a fight to keep going in any sort of straight line.
