MT, HYDRAULIC FLUID TYPE

I"m not having luck finding any 10W oil for the hyd. system on my MT. What can be used in the place of 10W oil.??

Try Tractor Supply. I buy 10W non detergent in 2 gal containers.

I've been using 10-30 in my '60 for 30 yrrs. No problems. HTH

20wt non-detergent is perfectly fine...

In TX, The Colorado Cty Oil Company sells it by the case, 12 per case...think it takes 4.5 pints or so...just do not use something with a detergent/agent in it bc it will foam-up on you and that is not good in the pressurized part [valve-housing] side of the TOM

I use 5w-20 in my 420. Manual says its an can be used in place of 10w.

Thanks for all the good info. Tractor Supply here might have it if I ask the right person that works there. If not, 10W-30 might be my route. Again, thanks to all.
