Tim, our visiting preacher man at church this morning is an Ohio resident. He is from New Philadelphia, OH which he tells me is in the central eastern part of the state. He drove down here to west TN to preach today. I asked him if there was much farming in his neck of the woods. He said there was quite a bit. That got me wondering which part of the state you call home? Who knows? You may be next door neighbors with the preacher man :)

Interestingly enough his last name is "Hatfield" and he says he is one of the Hatfield crew involved with the Hatfields and McCoys. From the pulpit he asked if there was any McCoys in the audience. Ha ha ha ha.

New Philly is 90 miles east of here, the southern and eastern part of Ohio is a rather rough area with a few small farms, western and north western is a much better farming area, the best of the state. I live at 4454 Stage Coach Rd. Somerset Ohio, if you want to Google Earth it ( I love this Google Earth, you can take a trip and never leave the farm) My home farm down the road a mile or 2 is 3076 OK Sweeney rd. Somerset Ohio, we are at the edge of the Boon Docks here, where you need to work twice as hard for half as much :^)

Well, if I ever happen by your way I'll drop in (I dont usually "happen by" 500 miles from home)for a gander at the 60 crawler. Maybe if I ask real nice you'll let me take er for a spin round the barnyard :) I'll bring you some kind of southern treat; maybe some fried pies.. I'll even teach the wife to make sweet tea :) That stuff will tighten your clutches or as my buddy says "it'll make you run faster, jump higher and catch more rebounds". Hahahaha

Here are a few pictures of my home farm, my 2 younger Bros. farm 3,000 of corn and beans in the area, there is a feed lot that hold 300 head under roof, they feed one batch a year, there are about 75 left in there in the pic, we talk on here a lot and with some pictures it's kinda fun to see where we do live...

Hmmm seemed to have lost my pictures,,I'll try that again...I guess I will need to try latter Darn it

Gonna try those pictures again..

Tim,very nice place and the fuel containment is now becoming mandatory in Ia if you have over 2000 gal diesel in one location and I assume those might also house chemicals or fertilizer.Several confinement hoop buildings going up and I think mono frame is the term for the other bulidings that are popular as the goverment is funding over 50% if you qualify. Some cowcalf herds are going confinement and I could have used one as calving has been a challenge due to late cold spring but so far we have done fine.Wondering if you have perfected your 4020 turbo manifold. You are very talented and I appreciate your time and also Tx Jim to help out anyone with a question.I wish I could post pictures but usually have younger generation help me post pictures.

Thanks for the complement but plese don't compare me to Tim's knowledge & talent. Comon Larry if a computer dummy such as I conqured downloading/posting photos on the WWW so can you. I've even learned how to use the snipping tool on my new Win 7 pro and it's neat to be able to post JD parts photo's that are in PDF.

I"m still learning about this computer use, I have a hot new system set up with 2 monitors that has an unbelievable capacity.I can have the parts page on one screen and the check out on the other, they are 23" screens with a homemade device to hang them under my over head cabinets. As for the tank site the large tanks in the picture are 28% a 10-34-0% fertilize, the next section over is Off road fuel and on road fuel, they need to be in a separate confinement. We built this 2 years ago and it was not cheap, new tanks, a lot of concrete, and State approval on every thing, the tall tanks are 20,000 gallons each, the off road fuel is 20,000 gallon laying down a 2,000gal on road tank, and a 1,000 gal gasoline tank

Tim I think you better say north 90 miles. 90 miles east I think would either put it in West Virgina or southern Pa. Very nice place you have there
