loss of hydraulic oil pressure

I have a John Deere 440c skidder and am having a problem with
losing hydraulic oil pressure. I have changed my hydraulic filter
and there is plenty of oil. After 3-4 minutes of running, my
steering cylinders gradually quit and also my blade hydraulics are
gone. If I shut the machine off for 3-4 minutes, the hydraulics are
back again. Any suggestions?
 
You need to check your sump screen in the bottom of the transmission case, my bet is it's clogged up with brake lining.
