I have a 2950 John Deere. It is a two wheel drive open station. My handbrake has locked up. I was wondering if anyone has had this problem and could give me some advice on it. First, is this something I can easily do myself or should I just take it to a John Deere dealer? What do I need to remove to get to the hand brake band? Is it easy to get to or will I have to pull the axles out of the tractor? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Bob

IIRC the handbrake band can be accessed by removing rockshaft(3 pt) housing.
