Im a little stumped on the service manual directions on setting the bearing load on the pinion shaft. It had several shim behind the race. What the easiest way to get this right? Second there was a seal on the back of the bottom shaft. Whats its purpose as the gear oil free flows through both compartments. I might add i dont see that seal in the parts book.
