Can you imagine all the clueless callers they are getting from posting the 800 number on here all the time and saying call this number for all your answers. Phrasing it this way makes it sound like an answer hotline. LOL

That number is where you can order the manuals from. The ones that are still even available, as some machines NEVER had manuals made for them.

I get tired of call 1-800 blah blah. I would think this forum exists to help, share knowledge and experience to those who seek it. If its not, then why do we have forums? He can be helpful when he has happy moments. We have lost a lot of knowledge on this board over the past couple of years, was just kinda concerned about him.. cant believe I just said that, lol

Just curious, what tractor doesn't have a manual from Deere? Even snowmobile manuals can still be bought from Deere.

Maybe people shouldn't be so damn cheap on buying a manual. Spend a few grand on a machine and cannot spend 100 bucks for a service manual and parts book. Come on.....No different than just changing the oil and not the filter.

Just ask about putting a diesel in a side counsel LP 4020 powershift and B&D will resurface.There are several smart minds on here and He is one of them.

Model A and H and L,LA are the first to come to mind. No service manual for these. Only operators and those are reprints that are not as good as the originals.

Thank you for your"s and several other"s concerns.. I"ve been on assignment in a 3rd world country and just returned. Did not get ill until Recently.After dining in a respectable looking airport restaurant. I seen, heard, felt and smelled some 3rd world hardships there that we take for granted here in the modern civilized western world.
After counting the number of my posts in 10 years . Which btw can not be correct as listed but anyways. And the time spent doing so while at home instead of getting more tasks completed around the place. Something has to give.too many irons in the fire.
After going "cold turkey " away from ytmag , as much as I enjoy the generally outstanding folks and Kim"s well run site For 1-1/2 weeks. The plan is to spend much less time on my duff in front of a computer.
There is the "witness protection system" that allowed Clooney to drop out and disappear but ........ JDMaris , he is spending less time here too.
I"ll pop in now and again from work while we are in a "hurry up and wait" mode.
I do have some pictures of what maybe a Tier 1 or Tier II 8.1L JD engine build in 2011 for export with a Bosch mechanical pump that maybe somebody can decode the numbers.
The plan is to meet up again at the NY Expo with Mike, Weird Deere, Ol"John T and many others this summer. For a feed of 7 yr old cheddar and visiting.
