replacement Zenith carb John Deere 2020

I recently purchased a JD2020 and have had trouble from the start with the MS TSX-905 carb so I decided to bite the bullet and get a Zenith replacement carb (14996). It arrived today and boy was I surprised to find nothing in the way of installation tips, just two bags of universal type parts. It did have some parts installed but they are on the wrong side for the 2020 and will need to be switched I assume to the other side. I am not sure why they installed them at all. They could have easily piled them in the bags with the rest of the miscellaneous parts. I can find nothing online but assume there must be something out there. Has anyone done one of these?
 
The factory carbs were fairly good and I would have sent my original to someone qualified to rebuild it before buying a replacement.The zenith carb was much better on a 3010-20 or 4010-20.You have a replacement that is sold to fit on several different tractors and may not work great on all the tractors they list it to fit.I hate when companies sub parts to fit 10 different things and they do not fit any right.Where did you order it from? Have they been any help?
